If so, we'd love to hear from you as our client is looking to recruit a Buyer to join their food manufacturing business based in Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities for Buyer:

  • Procurement responsibilities include maintenance of MRP system as well as looking at demand and forecast to ensure that stocks are managed accordingly.
  • Work with suppliers to develop and strengthen relationships and working partnerships, monitoring SLA's and KPI's.
  • Manage 100% availability stock inventory, managing raw materials and packaging stock levels across the business.
  • Manage inbound logistics and all relevant UK and shipping documentation.
  • Publish daily, weekly and monthly reports for the business.

The Successful candidate for Buyer:

  • Previous experience of Purchasing and Stock Management in a food manufacturing business is essential.
  • You must have worked with imported goods and suppliers in the UK as well as overseas.
  • Highly analytical as well as commercially astute and great attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well under pressure as well as a strong communicator.

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 plus benefits
