An exciting Medical Device Company are looking for a Category Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting time to join a well-established, Medical Device Company and would ideally suit an experienced Product/Category Manager looking to progress their career.
Category Manager - Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage product pricing strategies in line with market needs, will support the external and internal sales team as required and will ensure that there is sufficient stock to support product sales whilst ensuring the business is not burdened by over stock levels.
- Identify new product opportunities, define the commercial position and build strategies to take viable products through the development process.
- Creating the business plan and market strategy for the new product and executing the project from concept to launch
- Work with the sales team to fully understand market trends across international, competitor activities and product requirements.
- Carry out Market Analysis and competitor analysis
- Managing the pricing strategy for all products within category under management
Category Manager - Candidate Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience as a category/product manager
- Preferable to have experience of selling/marketing into international markets
- Efficient in verbal, written and technical communications
- Experience of delivering product marketing strategies and plans
- Desire to continually improve personal and business performance
Salary for this position will be in the range of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
