Our iconic, global Fortune 100 client has experienced rapid growth in their expenditure and are looking for procurement professionals to join their growing team which is geared at increasing their spending efficiency. Their global spend topped £50b and under their recently appointed CPO's leadership and forward-thinking, the company has lofty and ambitious aims of making their procurement function best-in-class.

IT procurement is a big part of this project and there are openings for ambitious procurement professionals to join the hardware and the software categories. The successful candidates will work autonomously and delivering true value on end-to-end procurement projects with both new and existing suppliers and vendors.

This role is great for those looking to grow professionally with the company and as the procurement function grows. Initially working at a local level, the Category Managers will work on national level and eventually group-wide procurement projects.

Requirements:

• Experience managing spend on IT procurement projects
• Previous experience working in an established procurement function
• Thrive in a fast-paced, vibrant environment
• Confidence when managing and influencing key stakeholders
• Degree (or equivalent) & CIPS preferred but non-essential
