A role that reports to a credible Sourcing Manager who has a huge category spend of 500 million Euro across Europe and Russia. The category has huge insight across the business and therefore this is a truly impressive role offering great exposure in terms of business areas and opportunities!

Are you someone that has the following skill set / experience?

• Degree educated or purchasing qualification
• Previous experience in buying in a central function
• Strong analytical skills and advanced excel
• Proactive attitude, driven by process improvement
• Own initiative and ability to translate these in to a business case and present to the Sourcing Manager
• Ability to challenge the status quo by exploring the best alternatives
• Logistics experience preferred but no essential

Tasks:

• Creates KPIs and monitors company and supplier performance with the goal to eliminate stockouts, shortages and reduce costs
• Assist with supplier negotiations, tenders, supplier selection and bid analysis
• Supplier management ensuring contract compliance. Key focus being on execution against contract commitments, supplier implementation and assisting with the coordination of new qualifications
• Optimize inbound freight from a cost and delivery standpoint
• Lead efforts around savings tracking and reporting
• Support the implementation of a Transportation Management System (TMS)
• Coordinate sourcing activities as required with regional Logistics Managers
• Assist with sustainability efforts around logistics
• Managing supplier claims system and process / interface with suppliers and Operations
• Own and manage Supplier Relationship Management program, to include all major suppliers. Co-ordinate and track key supply metrics and communicate these to all relevant stakeholders
• Co-ordination of logistics sourcing activities - Price lists / pricing data maintenance, Financial estimates and preparation of management reporting
• Supplier and supply market intelligence / analysis - preparation of related management information & presentations
• Cost structure analysis
