Core Duties

Implementing robust supply chains to support delivery of customer bids

Define and deliver the Procurement Plan aligned with the overall Bid Project Plan and schedule

Ensure the timely preparation of supplier RFQs and quotations in support of the price assembly process

Analysing current data to inform the supply chain solution

Negotiate supply chain solutions to support Customer tender

Manage the supplier relationships throughout the bid process

Managing and mitigating supply chain risk

Responsibilities

Functional Knowledge and skills

Excellent and broad Supply Chain best practice knowledge and experience

A breadth of business knowledge and expertise, including good business, market and competitor knowledge as well as depth of vision and creativity and an ability to develop Supply Chain strategy to support business objectives and strategy

Strong commercial awareness and familiar with terms and conditions

Good Microsoft skills especially Excel

The ability to utilise and interpret financial and performance data

Experience in driving a continual improvement culture through innovation and best practice

Broad engineering knowledge would be a distinct advantage but not essential
