We are working with a major global FinTech organisation who is seeking to appoint a Senior Buyer to work in a newly established team…
Working as part of a new team within a well-established procurement function the Senior Buyer will support the Head of Sourcing in determining and managing the sourcing/procurement process within Indirect services.
You will be responsible for identifying and engaging with key stakeholders to ensure a robust process is utilised to agree requirements, search and appraise appropriate supply sources and negotiate/renew contracts. You will ensure that all purchase requisitions and purchase orders for spend up to £250k are effectively managed and approved and will also support in providing buying and procurement advice to designated business areas and will contribute to the wider strategic plans of the Sourcing Team.
To be considered for this role you will already have some buying experience with a proven track record in category/sub category buying (ideally professional services, facilities, legal, HR or marketing) with comparable levels of spend – up to £250k and will be confident negotiating tactical procurement deals. You should also have stake holder management experience and will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
