Astra Recruitment are working with one of our clients to recruit a Shipping Operative to join their growing team.

For this role you will bejoining a company who not only provide excellent company benefits but also value their staff and team.

Job duties will include:

• Manage non-EU imports
• Investigate and plan routings for customers’ needs
• Liaise with a network of overseas agents
• Confirm bookings and arrange costings
• Update customers on their shipments progress
• Cost and margin analysis

Your skills and experience will include:

• Ideally you will have experience in an import operations role before
• Excellent ability on Excel
• Excellent customer service
• Able to accurately analyse data
• Experience working with large client files

Due to the location of this role candidates are required to have their own transport.
