This is an international brand leader who are experiencing rapid growth as demand for their products increases. They have more than doubled in turnover year on year and are predicting growth to £20m in 2020. They have a multi-channel operation selling into retail markets worldwide.
Reporting to the Merchandise Inventory Controller, the Assistant Inventory Controller will be an efficient and well organised person to work with the shipping and receiving components of the operation. The successful candidate will handle initial shipping, mainly inbound, tracking and receipting of deliveries and other administrative tasks as the role develops. You'll be responsible for:
· Sending booking requests to Suppliers
· Liaise with shippers
· Accurately updating delivery schedules
· Organising shipping records, including statements of origin, packing information, products shipped, and receipt dates
· Knowledge about freight and sea shipping regulations and practices
· Troubleshooting any shipping issues and supplier issues to improve efficiency
You'll be from a fast-moving operation with experience in supply chain administration and good evidence of being well organised and detail oriented. Experience of Microsoft Dynamics (NAV) would be an advantage. It goes without saying that you're excel skills will be strong.

Salary is circa £20k with 20 days holiday rising by 1 per year and pension.
