Permanent Coordinator & Planner position, outskirts of Burton, paying up to 24k, free parking.

Your new company
You will be working for a global company that still has the feel of a family run business, located on the outskirts of Burton Upon Trent. Holding over a centuries worth of experience this company has established themselves in the market and are at the forefront of what they do; offering people support when they need it most. Our client is positioned in a location that has no public transport links, therefore it is essential that you have your own transport.

Your new role
You will be an effective member of the Supply Network Operations Team, providing administrative support to the entire department.
Key responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Customer, supplier and international liaising
  • Use of SAP
  • Inventory management and purchase orders
  • Purchasing
  • Generating data - including reports
  • Ability to anticipate inventory demand to plan and react accordingly
  • Handling orders and the related logistics
  • Use of internal systems
  • Obtaining quotes
  • Organising and minute taking in meetings
  • Handling phone calls and answer queries
  • System improvement
  • Resolving sales order credit queries
  • Training participation


The working hours will be Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. As mentioned above it will be required that you have a method of transport due to their being no public transport links nearby.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position you will promote the companies ideologies and be a confident user of various different systems of packages, most importantly, SAP, CRM and Excel.
In addition to this you will be able to demonstrate an adaptive approach to work situations, have excellent communication skills, have meticulous attention to detail and be able to organise your time effectively in a fast paced environment.
You'll also have a minimum of 2 years experience working within a similar or transferable role and have proven longevity on your CV.
