Inventory Planner - West Yorkshire - Up to £35,000
Chase & Holland are very excited to be working alongside one of our growing and reputable clients who are a looking to bring an Inventory Planner into their highly successful commercial business. Due to superb growth the Inventory Planner will ensure all products throughout the purchasing department meet business and stock objectives.
The Inventory Planner will work closely with in the Purchasing Manager to ensure an efficient & high-quality process across the department.
Responsibilities of the role:
· Carry out effective vendor management for both Direct and Indirect purchases
· Sourcing and planning appropriate suppliers - including negotiations and agreements
· Maintain and implement effective stock management techniques
· Carry out ongoing monitoring of inventory levels - liaising with internal departments
· Work closely with Material Planners and Purchasing team to effect business function
· Provide weekly/monthly reports for management use
· Using company MRP system for planning and maintenance of inventory levels
Key Requirements:
· Ideally a minimum of 3 years’ experience within Purchasing / Inventory Management
· Strong inventory management, production planning or scheduling skills
· Experience of in detail report writing
· Ability to work across several functions
· Strong IT & systems skills - MRP
