Indirect Procurement Buyer - Industry Leading Financial Institution - London/Reading - £38,000- £45,000 + 10% Bonus + Fast-tracked Progression

FTSE 250 powerhouse is looking for an Indirect Procurement Buyer to join their best-in-class procurement function with a clear path to progression within the business. Famed for their innovative technology, the organisation are targeting a high-calibre individual to partner with executive stakeholders, devising long-term strategies for various Indirect Procurement Categories - in line with the firm's expansion. This is a unique opportunity to gain full exposure to a rapidly growing industry, in a company with an excellent procurement function.

As Global Procurement Category Lead you will:-

• Manage the full end to end procurement of certain indirect procurement categories such as Professional Services, Marketing Procurement, IT Procurement, and Legal Services
• Interface with Senior Level Stakeholders, and high-profile suppliers from the outset of your career in the business
• Progress quickly through the organisation, developing your existing procurement skillset whilst being exposed to a brand-new environment
• Have the opportunity to travel to different sites and develop lasting relationships within one of the fastest evolving industries within procurement

Global Procurement Category Lead Required Background:-

• Some Indirect Procurement Sourcing experience ideally with some IT Procurement, however strong direct procurement candidates will also be considered
• Clear evidence of devising and implementing category plans in a strategic driven procurement environment
• Exposure to a blue-chip background, ideally within FS, however other backgrounds will also be considered
• Degree + Working towards CIPS (beneficial but not essential)

What the Role will offer:

• £38,000- £45,000 basic salary
