Sea Freight Imports Clerk

Our client is a well established freight forwarder who offers worldwide Air and Sea freight forwarding. With long established overseas offices and agency networks spanning across all major ports and airports
they can deliver an efficient and cost effective service worldwide.

We are now looking for Senior Sea Import Controller to join the team in the Manchester office based at the Freight terminal or the Leeds office . Your role will involve..

Creating and processing import entries
Arranging and monitoring import deliveries
Answering phones and providing excellent customer service
Providing administrative assistance to the General Manager and Sales team
General administrative duties such as preparing customer invoices, processing supplier invoices and liasing with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents.

In order to apply for this role you will need..

In depth experience of handling freight imports, customs entry creation and customs procedures.
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail, team mentality and positive attitude
Experience with CCS-UK, CNS & MCP systems would be advantageous
