Supply Chain Customer Lead - Derby
£27K - £33K DOE
Our client is one of the world's largest suppliers into the aero/defence industry. Over the last few years they have achieved double digit growth leading to investment in operations throughout the business. They have a requirement for a Supply Chain Customer Lead at their site in Derby.
This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced supply chain department where you will be responsible for ensuring parts are delivered on time in full. Please note this is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
In return, the Supply Chain Customer Lead will receive 23 days annual leave, a competitive pension contribution, healthcare expenses scheme, life assurance, local discounts and incentives for economical commuting (e.g. cycle2work).
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor KPIs analysing any trends and performance issues to ensure customer service
- Investigate any queries and implement any corrective actions or process improvements
- Review forecasts & inventory to enable efficient business planning
Essential Requirements
- Experience working as a point of contact for customers in a technical supply chain based role
- Knowledge of inventory and forecast analysis
- Strong communication skills
- Implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives
Nice to Haves
- Experience working in an aerospace or automotive parts supply chain beneficial
