Position Summary

This position is within the Operations team, reporting into the Operations Manager and with the UK Warehouse Supervisor as a direct report. My client will also be implementing a new software system so you must be comfortable in dealing with system implementation and change. The successful candidate should have experience in creating and implementing changes in procedures and policies as necessary.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

  • Management of the UK warehouse team. Ensuring that there is adequate training, support and direction
  • Assist Operations Manager in an overhaul of the Warehouse Policies and Procedures; including the Cycle Count
  • Review and maintain records from ongoing Cycle Count activities at the UK warehouse
  • Ensure the Warehouse is orderly always adhering to HSE legislation, and other controlling functions
  • Management of outgoing freight from our UK warehouse
  • Utilize data and produce reports to monitor warehouse activities
  • Continuous improvement programs and efficacy incentives champion

Knowledge/Qualifications

  • Experience in a warehouse management role, covering both process and people management
  • Excellent verbal, written and organisational skills
  • Previous experience with warehouse management systems, usage and configuration
  • Knowledge of SAP and SD & MM module understanding is a key
