Are you an ambitious Strategic Buyer looking to take the next step in your career?
A market leading, multinational provider of specialist defence technology is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their Strategic Campaigns Procurement team.
As an essential part of the Bids and Projects function, you will support bids up to the value of £250m and develop effective Procurement strategies to ensure the company consistently wins new business.
Key Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years' experience at Buyer level
- Demonstrable experience of Strategic Sourcing - must be able to implement and execute sourcing strategies
- First rate stakeholder management skills - capable of interfacing with, challenging and influencing senior managers
- Exposure to procurement of services and/or bids, projects and tenders in a large defence organisation
