I am recruiting for a Junior Buyer for my client who are a successful medical company based in the Grays area. This is a great opportunity for a Junior Buyer to join a growing distribution company where progression is available.
This is a full time permanent position, working hours are Monday - Friday 8:00-17:00 with onsite parking available.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Managing existing supplier relationships
- Selecting potential suppliers for the business
- Negotiating and monitoring cost, service level agreements and timescales
- Data analysing
- Meeting with suppliers regularly to ensure relationship is maintained
The successful candidate for the Junior Buyers position will have the following experience:
- Experience working as a Junior Buyer either within a medical company or FMCG
- Sound understanding of costings
- Intermediate in using Mircosoft Excel
- Confident in working independently
Due to location, you must have access to your own transport.
