Location: Hatfield
Pay rate: £9.25 per hour
Hours: Mon - Fri 11am - 7pm
Contract length: 3 months +

A leading IT service provider has a job requirement for a Warehouse Operative to join their growing team in Hatfield. Our client, who operate in over 70 countries and have over 10,000 employees in Europe alone, are Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services who implement the most appropriate technology from a wide range of vendors to manage their technology infrastructure on their client's behalf. However, the most important part of their company are the
services they provide, which is where you come in.


Your new job in Hatfield
In your new job as a Warehouse Operative in Hatfield you will be responsible for:
· Picking.
· Packing.
· Database input.
· Receiving and identifying field returns components through a scrap, store, repair, warranty loop.
· Updating SAP and ITSM info records. Updating inventory control movements using SAP and re assigning info work records in call management system (ITSM).
· Consolidating consignments for distribution.
· Emailing ISPs and Management when required. - This would be when there are issues with an order, the candidate will need to have strong communication skills because they will be interacting with varying levels of stakeholders
· Work to performance targets and SLAs. - Specific to each project, these will be defined with worker before starting the project that is being worked on


What you'll need to succeed

The successful Warehouse Operative based in Hatfield:

· Strong logistical back ground. - 3-4 years' experience required.
· Data input an advantage. SAP knowledge an advantage.
· Flexibility to react to demand on short notice.
· Ability to work to driven targets and SLAs.
· Basic knowledge of I.T componentry.
· Accuracy and attention to detail.
· Good written and verbal communication.
