Job Title - Supply Chain Administrator - AUTOMOTIVE - 12 MONTH CONTRACT

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Location - Hatfield

Salary - £23,000 to £25,000 per annum

Must haves: Proven administrative experience required, methodical, driven and highly organised, analytical with exceptional attention to detail

This fantastic employer is seeking an experienced supply chain administrator to support the supply chain manager and other analysts with a variety administrative tasks and updates.

Duties

• Generate daily sales reports and monthly reporting activities

• Dealing with the Supply / Warehouse specific tools and systems

• Communicating and relationship building/maintenance with overseas vendors

• Process shipping documents and delivery notes

• Using SAP to create shipping notifications, stock bookings, process material amendments, order processing and creating purchase orders

• Assemble monthly accrual calculations of freight and warehousing expenditure

• Maintaining in-house spreadsheets accurately

• Manipulating in-house information systems in line with procurement (Warehouse & Customer portals, EDI, Quality Management System)

• Coordinate with support functions to resolve any open accounts or stock related issues

• Produce daily and monthly sales/credit or progress reports when required.

• Daily reconciliation of system stock vs. warehouse stock.

• Maintain and develop relationships with 3rd Party companies (warehouse facilities, freight forwarders and logistics companies)

• Provide support to quality management system with updates, audits, customer score cards and training manuals

To be considered for this role you must

• Proven experience within the automotive industry is essential

• Personal attributes: self-motivated, driven, methodical, numerate, organised, punctual, assertive, professional, personable, numerate and resourceful.

• Outstanding communication skills

• Analytical with excellent attention to detail

• IT Literate and competent user of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

• Excellent time management, multitasking skills and ability to meet strict deadlines

• A strong ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
