Page Personnel Logistics are looking to recruit a Operations and 3PL3PL Manager for our client in High WycombeWycombe.
Client Details
Our client are a global business and market leader supplying services to the fresh produce sector.
Description
You will be responsible for the following:
- Co-ordinate operations of 4 UK depots (Production / Recollections / Storage).
- Management of 3rd3rd party service provider performance.
- Sourcing new haulage suppliers and negotiating rates.
- Control of external haulage budget of circa £3 million.
- Creation of monthly cost comparison reports.
- Demand and supply planning.
- Development of strategic business reports.
- Managing Transport - Customer Service Representative
- Managing Quality Controller and ensuring standards are met by 3rd3rd Party service provider.
- Dealing with customer complaints and provision of monthly report.
- Work to overcome operational issues with our retail partners as requested
- Any other reasonable duties.
Profile
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Experience in food / fresh produce industry or retail sector (Desirable but not essential)
- Stock Control / Logistics / Supply Chain background.
- Experience in managing and motivating people.
- Operational & Customer Service experience.
- Preferred multimulti-site exposure
