We are working with our client who is a successful oil, gas and renewable energy business looking for a candidate with a background in purchasing or business administration to for fill the position of Purchasing Coordinator & become part of the exciting & dynamic team. You will be providing essential services, support and added value through their facilities & infrastructure to a number of leading Global Companies.

The role is centrally positioned in the day to day operations of the company, the Purchasing Coordinator will have the responsibility for coordinating and maintaining the company’s purchasing management system and administration. The position is the key link between the company’s suppliers and the company’s Operational / Project & Supervisory teams.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for Processing Purchasing & the associated administration
  • You will be part of the Purchasing team supporting and maintaining company systems & process compliance
  • Responsible for supporting continuous improvement within the systems and best value principles
  • Responsible for coordinating all purchasing related enquires & support auditing and quality initiatives
  • Deliver Professional High Level of Output
  • Project Reporting & Supportive Administration
  • Ensure stakeholders expectations are managed, communicated and exceeded
  • Coordinate contractor compliance and control.

Personal Specification:

  • Background in Purchasing & / or Business Administration
  • Data Input experience
  • Ability to coordinate
  • Compliance Driven
  • Good IT skills & Excel ability
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Demonstrate an ability to work in a team as a key member.
