Our client an international Logistics provider is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator with a background in the Freight Forwarding industry. The successful candidate will be working for a large Retail Account, maintaining a high level of communication with both internal and external parties. Track and collate Inbound Documentation to ensure timely handover to Brokerage department for Customs procedures to take place in time for prompt delivery to distribution centres, whilst ensuring customer KPI requirements are being met. You will establish effective communication with Carriers, customers and overseas offices.Tracking of deliveries, maximise revenue and contain costs. Deliver first class customer service to be measured by customer service feedback and internal/external KPI. Must have a very high level of customer service and communication skills and strong analytical skills. Be a team player but be self motivated and be able to work without supervision. A background in Freight Forwarding and Retail Logistics experience will be an advantage.
