Position Overview:

BRT SA UK is currently looking for a highly motivated Operations Analyst to join our rapidly expanding Wealth Management Operations team, based in Soho. This is an exciting opportunity for an interesting and challenging role in a very successful and rapidly growing solutions provider.

The candidate will have many varied and challenging responsibilities including trade processing, valuations, report generation and reconciliation. They will ideally have some experience of the finance industry and have a basic understanding of a range of financial instruments & concepts. We require highly competent organisational and administrative skills, with the confidence to interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders (including Traders, PMs, Executives, RMsetc.)

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of monthly and ad-hoc client reporting packages with detailed explanations to the Portfolio Management Team on a specified set of accounts. The candidate will need both a suitable understanding of financial terms and definitions as well as a strong appetite to increase their knowledge. A good understanding of general accounting principles with a particular focus on performance reporting and analysis is a plus.

The Operations Analyst will join a close-knit group, reporting to the WM Ops Team Leader in London and Global Head of Ops in Geneva. This is an excellent opportunity to join a young and exciting team in a hugely successful and growing organisation.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified, ideally in a relevant area (finance, economics, mathematics, IT.)

  • 1-4 year’s professional experience, or relevant internships.

  • A second European language, e.g. French, will be considered a plus.

    As this role requires interaction with very senior stakeholders the successful applicant will be confident, outgoing and articulate. Since the department is changing, expanding and developing itself, the candidate must be highly pro-active, flexible and a proven self-starter. It is also important that the candidate shows performance orientated behaviour with a strong desire to improve processes and controls.

Finally, the role requires a lot of time management, organisation and close attention to detail. Importantly you must be both a team player and comfortable accepting 100% responsibility for your tasks.
