We are currently working with a very well-established organisation who are currently recruiting for a Automotive Supply Chain Administrator to join their modern offices in Hatfield. This is a fixed-term contract for 12-months but there is the potential of more long-term opportunity. 

Joining this dynamic and progressive company, you will provide support to the Supply Chain Manager and Analysts by completing all administration and system updates for the entire supply chain process within the automotive division. This role will also have the capacity to facilitate future supply chain projects such as SAP development.  

You will work Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm. My client can offer you a very competitive salary which will be dependent on level of experience. You will also be entitled to the following benefits:

  • Provide full administrative support for the supply chain department
  • Process shipping documents and delivery notes
  • Create shipping notifications and book stock in via SAP
  • Maintain spreadsheets and ensure all data is kept up to date
  • Generate daily sales reports and monthly reporting activities
  • Communication and relationship maintenance with overseas vendors
  • Liaise with support functions in order to resolve any stock related issues
  • Compile monthly accrual calculations of freight and warehousing expenditure
  • Produce daily and monthly sales/credit or progress reports when required
  • Maintain and develop relationships with third parties such as warehouse facilities, freight forwarders and logistics companies
  • Provide support for system updates, audits, customer score cards and training manuals

  • Previous and proven experience within the industry is required
  • IT literate and competent user of all Microsoft packages
  • Experience of using SAP is desirable
  • Must be self-motivated, driven, organised, assertive and personable
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical approach
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as a part of a team
