Buyer - Mansfield - £25,000 - £30,000

Chase & Holland are working in partnership once again with a recognised and reputable business services organisation in Mansfield. They are looking to recruit a Buyer due to growth and expansion of their client base.

The role will see you working as part of an extremely fast paced and successful team.

Buyer responsibilities:

  • As part of a team, manage the procurement of materials and services ensuring best price, delivery, quality and service
  • Liaise with a diverse supply chain and provide a high level of expertise relating to materials management
  • Review procurement activity, making and incorporate improvements and innovations
  • Analyse, research and benchmark the marketplace
  • Manage and maintain the development of the approved supplier database.
  • Maintain accurate and meaningful data collection relating to all areas of procurement activity.

Key requirements and preferences:

  • A proven track record of sourcing and negotiation with a Purchasing role
  • The ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment where no two days are the same
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines and KPI’s
