Nights Operations Manager

Breezemount are market leaders in the 2-person home delivery service working with international brands such as IKEA.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Nights Operations Manager, to be based at our Castle Donington location.  The Nights Operations Manager position reports into the General Manager of the site and the main purpose is to support the General Manager in all aspects of the operations.

The Nights Operations Manager Role

As the Night Operations Manager you will have accountability for the site’s performance over a 7-day a week operation.  This includes all aspects of transport and warehousing, to ensure that customer service levels are met or exceeded. You will manage costs to maximise profitability and manage resources and people effectively.  The Operations Manager is consistently analysing current processes and procedures and pushing for continuous improvements.

We are looking for a leader with experience in a similar position ideally with the following experience:

• Within the home delivery sector or similar industry.
• The ability to make quick and effective decisions to drive through improvements.
• A good level of IT literacy.
• HR knowledge.

The Nights Operations Manager Rota

The usual working pattern for this role is 40 hours per week, between 21.15 and 05.45, over a 5 day from 7 shift.  The shifts are on a rota and can include weekends and bank holidays, however 1 in 4 weekends off, so flexibility is a key requirement.
