A global procurement & supply chain business are seeking an experienced Account Executive Manager with experience in sourcing and purchasing. This is a varied and fast paced role which will fully utilise your expertise in negotiation with suppliers/freight forwarders and management of key client accounts across the ordering process.

Working with clients across various industry sectors, you would be providing an integrated procurement and supply chain solution. Your role as an Account Executive is responsible for end-to-end account management working with key clients across all stages of the order. This includes identifying their needs, sourcing goods, quoting, follow-up and the purchase order/sales order.

In addition, you will provide logistic support which includes freight tracking and planning, liaising with freight forwarders and solving problems.

Key to this role is actively identifying opportunities and promoting the company’s capabilities to current and potential clients.

  • Building excellent client relationships that promote repeat business
  • Sourcing and quoting best price / product / availability (with fast turnaround)
  • Maintaining good relationships across freight forwarders and other service providers
  • Building supplier networks on an international scale
  • Meeting gross profit targets with assigned key clients and the sale of freight
  • Identifying new opportunities with existing clients

To succeed in the role of Account Executive, you will need exceptional problem-solving skills, an investigative nature and thrive in a target driven environment. You will enjoy working to deadlines and get a buzz out of closing deals and gaining the trust of your clients.

This is a full-time permanent position based in Winchester offering a salary of £27,000 per year.
