Supply Chain Manager - Soft Services

Contract length: Full Time
Salary: £32,000-£36,000 + Benefits + Car Allowance

Due to strong business demands, our client is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join their growing and dynamic team based in Leeds.

Your New Job

You will report to the Account Head of Supply Chain, this role will be responsible for the day to day account development and leadership of a number of supply chain partners delivering Soft Services to the LBG account. Responsible for ensuring that the supply chain partners develop their process in line with the customer specification and verify their systems/processes to ensure they are compliant with the end customer's needs. This includes onsite supply chain partner verification.

The Supply Chain Manager is expected to perform at Advanced level in the following:

Support the continuous improvement in our account operational service delivery through effectively managing our Soft Services Delivery Partners (Catering, Cleaning, Security, Reception, Pest, Mailroom etc)
Utilise all sources of data to identify service delivery trends, and work with the supply chain to understand and address these trends to ensure CI within the supply chain.
Co-ordinate and host supply chain monthly reviews, ensuring that the Supply Chain are delivering against their KPI's and have improvement plans where these fall short.
Support transformation projects which the operations will be responsible for, including but not limited to change management and business improvement initiatives.
Gather and analyse MI, ensuring KPIs are a true gauge of process and operational performance and aligned to the needs of the customer.
Liaise with the finance teams to understand Suppliers performance against Managed Budget, and help demonstrate best value.
Liaise with the Finance team to ensure that any Supplier billing queries are quickly resolved and any escalations controlled.

What You Will Need To Succeed

The Supply Chain Manager will have:

Soft Service background
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
Able to influence others, matrix management experience beneficial
Organised and efficient individual
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels and across a diverse mix of stakeholders
Self-starter with ability to challenge and drive progress across supply chain
Able to demonstrate self-reliance and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to adapt and adopt flexible business improvement approaches to drive the desired outcome
Excellent knowledge of operational systems, reporting and management applications including Excel, Visio, Project and Access. Previous experience of PowerBI and advantage
