Trainee Buyer job in Brinkworth, £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, permanent contract

Hays Procurement are pleased to be assisting a global client in the recruitment of a Trainee Buyer to join their busy team.

Your new role

You will monitor market movements and trends ensuring you have the correct purchasing strategies, define and implement strategies to mitigate risk as well as capturing and monitoring third party supplier prices and advise the sales department.

You will also provide market reports to the management team, be responsible for purchasing margins as well as completing monthly and quarterly audit checks ensuring all processes are being completed correctly.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have the desire to initiate or continue a career in procurement, have strong analytical skills ideally with a degree within mathematics, finance or economics as well as strong numerical and organisational skills.

What you'll get in return

This role is being offered with the salary between £20,000 and £25,000 per annum with good progression.
