Warehouse Manager required for a large and reputable food manufacturer in Telford. Demanding role which will involve strong man management skills as well as proven stock management and planning ability. The Job Role:

As Warehouse Manager, your role will entail:

  • Overall responsibility of running the warehouse - including goods in/ dispatch/ stock holding/ waste yard
  • Recruitment and training of staff
  • Ensuring all H&S regulations and procedures are adhered to
  • Managing stocktaking within the warehouse
  • Identifying existing and future warehouse problems and implementing cost saving measures
  • Managing relationships with 3rd party vendors - attending formal reviews and measuring set KPI’s
  • Ensuring the efficient control of stock by correct storage and accurate record keeping
  • Managing the annual warehouse budget
  • Responsibility for all vehicle and equipment rental - maintenance/ reporting damages/ cleaning
  • Implementing new projects to improve warehouse performance
  • Any other reasonable task as requested by Senior Management

Experience / Requirements:

  • MUST have previous experience within a Warehouse Management role
  • Strong man management skills
  • Managed teams of 20+ staff
  • Must have experience within Health and Safety - IOSH standard
  • SAP knowledge
  • Experience within the food sector is desirable
  • FLT Licence - Counterbalance/ Reach

The Package:

  • Favourable day shift - flexibility required
  • Salary - Up to £36,000 DOE
