Warehouse And Logistics Operative

Are you computer/number literate and have a real eye for detail? Have you worked in a stock control/warehouse environment? If so an excellent opportunity has arisen and my client based in Harpenden is seeking a Warehouse And Logistics Operative to join their friendly team.

You will need to be confident with an outgoing personality who can work as a team player and able to work on their own and liaise with customers and suppliers in a calm and patient manner to meet deadlines.

On a daily basis, you will be responsible for organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage and despatch of warehoused goods in a stock room environment. You will enter serial numbers onto the system in order to allocate stock and the co-ordinate internal stock management and reporting. You will deal with goods in and goods out and maintain stock levels. Use of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) would be desireable, but use of a database is essential.

The salary is £18,000-£22,000 and the hours are Mon-Fri 9-5.30pm. Benefits include in-house training, 21 days holiday rising 1 day per year max of 25, career development and company pension.
