Customer Service & Logistics Agent

JHE & Partners are recruiting a Customer Service & Logistics Agent on behalf of a well respected and expanding business based very close to Leeds city centre. Joining their workforce on a permanent basis.

Job Description

Providing customer and logistics support, the duties will include:

• Handling incoming calls and email enquiries
• Liaising with other teams to ensure the service levels are second to none
• Taking and processing customer orders, stock checks and managing the whole process from start to finish, ensuring all expectations are managed and the customer is satisfied
• World-wide stock checks/control
• Working with the warehouse and logistics companies to work through deliveries and collections
• Liaising with the warehouses and sub-contractor warehouses
• Processing sales orders from the e-commerce site
• Being a brand ambassador at all times
• Other ad-hoc duties where necessary

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working in a customer focused environment
• Experience working within logistics (desirable, not essential)
• Great communication skills both written & verbal
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong administration skills and a keen eye for detail
• A great team ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Sales order processing experience (Essential)
• At least 2 years in a Customer Service role
• Experience of logistics/dispatching
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Sage Line 50 experience (desirable, but not essential)

Salary and Benefits

• £20,000 - £24,000 Depending on Experience
