Supply Chain & Packaging Administrator

£23,000 + Great Benefits

We are seeking to recruit a strong Administrator to join our busy Supply Chain and Packaging Team in Moreton.

You must be numerate and logical in your approach, be self-motivated and able to prioritise. A confident approach to excel is required as you will be dealing with multiple documents on a daily basis. Attention to detail and focus is required to ensure data entry is right first time. The ability to work as a Team and unsupervised is essential.

You will provide commercial, analytical and technical support to the Purchasing Department and ensure that a continual supply/coordination of materials from the UK and abroad are available. You will be required to support the approval of artwork to strict timelines.

Further Detail:

  • Call in packaging to meet the production plan/manually change for new item codes
  • Query shortages with planner
  • Check supplier deliveries for date/time/quantity
  • Print EPOR for warehouse / ensure amount of pallets delivered is within limits
  • Place new orders - ensuring volumes meet required quantity to obtain prices agreed with buyers
  • Redesigns/delists - complete stocks at Moreton and supplier and issue with values.
  • Supplier stock sheets - change orders to show under/over makes
  • Agree Invoice queries and check order acknowledgments
  • Create item codes for all BOM’s / amend BOM to new code
  • Input Specifications onto Navision
  • Check packaging weights
  • Manage run outs for redesigns etc. and create stock sheets

Skills and experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar position ideally in a FMCG manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and ERP systems
  • Strong IT skills, in particular Excel
  • Effective time-management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • A team-player with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.

Further information:

  • Permanent contract (6 month probationary period)
  • Hours - Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
  • Salary - £23,000.00 per annum
  • Holidays - 25 days holiday and statutory bank holidays.
