Sales and Purchasing Administrator

Job Title: Sales and Purchasing Administrator
Location: Bedford
Salary: Up to £24,000 (DOE)
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm

Job Duties:

• Handling communications with clients via telephone and emails and building relationships with them
• Processing sales order and preparing dispatch documents using Sage 50
• Processing invoices and purchase orders as well as raising credit notes
• Liaising with suppliers and negotiating prices when necessary
• Maintaining in-house purchasing systems and spreadsheets with up to date and accurate data
• General office support including filling and taking payments

Person Specification:

• Must have previous administration experience including processing sales orders
• Strong IT skills including MS Office and SAGE 50
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multi task and maintain relationships
• High attention to detail
