You will join a global market leader in the engineering, manufacture and supply of a bespoke product range.

Your new role

To provide Procurement, Commercial and Materials Management support to the Manufacturing and customer facing Sales teams, achieving and exceeding targets for quality, cost, delivery and inventory levels. Duties & responsibilities include-

• Maintain a supply base that consistently achieves the business targets for quality, cost and performance.
• Develop robust relationships with assigned UK and Global suppliers to support the needs of the business.
• Undertake commercial negotiations with assigned suppliers.

What you'll need to succeed

With a proven Procurement track record in manufacturing / Engineering, you will be able to demonstrate the following-

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Background of procuring raw materials and services
• Formulating, developing and implementing effective commodity strategies.
• Commercial acumen alongside strong negotiation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• MCIPS Qualified or working towards is beneficial
