Supply Chain Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager, based in Gloucester, to join one of the UK’s largest fabricators in the fenestration industry.

In this critical role, you will ensure that there is stock of materials when needed to ensure that manufacturing processes are as efficient as possible. This is a hands on role where you will take control of the site stock, identify requirements, place orders as required, liaise with suppliers and prepare management reports. You will oversee stores staff, implement best practice working methods and develop the supply chain and inventory control to allow the operation to facilitate maximum and efficient production.

Experience gained within a high volume fabrication environment is essential for this role. Candidates must also have supply chain management / materials controller experience. The successful candidate will be highly detailed and proactive in approach, self-motivated with good communication skills and have good IT skills. A CIPS qualification would be an advantage.
