Junior Procurement Consultant - Rapidly Growing Boutique Consultancy - Watford - £40,000 + Rapid Progression Opportunities

Due to a recent period of extended growth this boutique procurement consultancy is looking for a new Junior Procurement Consultant to join their ranks and work with some of their key clients in the Birmingham area. The consultancy pride themselves on both the service they provide to their clients, as well as the opportunity for progression they provide for their procurement consultants. The role will give a great deal of autonomy to the successful applicant and allow them to work in an exciting client-facing role as they learn how to develop innovative procurement strategies.

As Junior Procurement Consultant you will: -

• Be based on site at one of the consultancy's highest profile clients, developing your procurement skills and your stakeholder management
• Work closely with a senior procurement consultant, both in a supporting role but also taking the lead on certain projects
• Gain fantastic senior level stakeholder experience, dealing with C-Level Stakeholders on a daily basis
• Have the opportunity to progress to a Senior Procurement Consultant within 18-24 months

Junior Procurement Consultant Required Background: -

• End to end procurement experience ideally across indirect procurement categories e.g. HR, Professional Services, IT, or Marketing
• Exposure to a retail, food manufacturing, or facilities management environment within a procurement role
• Strong Academics (ideally a degree 2:1 or above)
• Strong stakeholder management skills/ previous client exposure
