Engineering Contracts Manager

I am looking for a Engineering Contracts Manager to join my client who is a close knit, highly creative and flexible engineering company. The already well established company are looking to improve their engineering team, and get well organised, driven Manager to join their team to deal with the increased work load. Managing and implementing new processes, planning projects and programme planning are some of the main responsibilities you would have that would help add real value to the business. They are looking for a candidate too make a difference and help them go grow as a business and improve as a company.
The main roles and responsibilities include:
Programme planning
Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the scheme without delays.
Ensure procurement and reconciliation of materials is carried out in accordance with company procedures to best value and to prevent delays.
Ensure a commercial plan and delivery forecast is in place and monitored monthly for the successful commercial delivery of the project.
Review the cost value / Weekly reviews of progress, budget resources and forward planning are carried out.
Ensure timely management of design to meet the requirements of each project.
Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental
Customer relations
My client is looking for a time served Engineering Contracts Manager with experience with extensive experience of managing multiple projects within a Engineering environment to the value of 100k plus. Other key attributes my client is looking for include:
Good working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting.
Experience of MS project.
Knowledge of NEC contract processes.
