We do retail differently here at the National Trust. 100% of our profits help us look after the special places we all love. And we’re so much more than tea towels and mugs you know. Our shops are packed with everything, from locally-produced honey to plants grown in our gardens, to top toys for outdoor adventures. There’s something for everyone. And that’s the point. We want more and more people to enjoy our magical places and spaces, and retail’s a really important part of that.

We don’t want to stop at 5.5 million members and we want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy access to our places, so we need to reach new audiences in ways that are meaningful and relevant to them without losing the hearts and minds of those that are already with us.
