About the Role
Liverpool City Council are recruiting a Senior Contracts Manager to lead a new team within our award winning Commercial Procurement Unit. This exciting role will lead the delivery of a contract management strategy and associated plan of work. Working closely with our existing Category Management teams the role will involve strengthening our strategic supply relationships, driving Liverpool’s Fair City agenda and delivering maximum commercial value through our contractual arrangements.
Appropriate contract management, procurement and commercial expertise is required, preferably gained within a public sector environment. What is more important, however, is drive, ambition, negotiation and influencing skills together with the ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
