Harris Burns are working on restructure for a Public body in the West Midlands.
The post holder will be part of the Procurement team and take a pivotal role in delivering significant cost improvements in a creative, strategic and innovative way relating to commercial income and expenditure contracts in order to assist the organsation in meeting its financial targets and objectives.
This will involve tendering, development and ongoing management of a portfolio of divisional medical contracts with varying levels of expenditure and complexity in compliance with Organisation SFIs and Public Procurement Legislation.
The post holder will be expected to act in a mentoring role to the Procurement Assistants and Buyers to enhance their procurement skills sets and improve their overall understanding of divisional requirements, translating them in to deliverables in line with the departments and organisations objectives.
