Role
As part of our warehouse operational planning team we have a vacant role for Demand Resource Planner.
Key Supervisor Responsibilities
- Coordinate with both purchasing and sales functions to establish accurate volume forecasts for input into the warehouse resource planning model
- Track key operational variances which impact resource & efficiency
- Liaise directly with the operational teams to agree resource plans which both drive efficiency whilst protecting service
- Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure resource forecasts are aligned to budget assumptions and where a delta exists provide the necessary insight behind the variance
- Collate E-2-E process metrics and chair a daily operational comm cell to understand and address operational challenges in-line with the agreed SLA metrics
- Produce management reporting and insight on operational performance
- Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct
Personal Skills
- Experienced demand planner with extensive operational exposure in complex, fast moving and high-volume logistics & distribution environments
- Excellent data manipulation and Excel skills
- Mainstream WMS knowledge (SAP, Manhattan, JDA etc)
- An action oriented, resourceful individual who has honed interpersonal skills for working with a variety of internal stakeholders
- A methodical thinker with business insight and financial acumen
- Drive for self-development
