A newly created role has become available to look after all the procurement activity for Operations for a well known energy company.

This role covers several key areas

  • Responsible for all procurement activity within the UKs Operations department, inclusing the devlopement and management of a best practice procurement approach
  • Financial reporting , cost recovery strategy and contract risk management
  • Supplier performance and relationship management
  • Management of supply chain escalation issues, including taking appropriate legal advice when required
  • Manage key supplier relarionships and attend regular meetings with suppliers to review contracts
  • Develop and manage financial reporting on supply chain expenditure
  • Lead all procurement activity to engage new suppliers in support of operational objectives
  • Lead suppler contract negotiation and renegotiation

The ideal candidates will be CIPS level 4 or higher

Experience gained within the ENERGY industry is a distinct advantage or another regulated environment

Salary up to 50k plus 20% bonus
