Service Operations Manager - Weston-super-Mare - Up to £45,000 + Benefits
A cutting-edge technology organisation based in Weston-super-Mare are on the lookout for a skilled Service Operations Manager to lead their collaborative services team and provide support to the service desk and internal infrastructure.
The Role
As the Service Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the development, learning and skill of your team meet the changing needs of the business, providing opportunities to grow and constantly striving for operational excellence. Your daily duties will include, but won't be limited to:
- Liaising with internal and external clients
- Managing service contracts
- Implementing the strategic direction for service operations
- Service Management
- Financial forecasting and budgeting
- Preparation of tenders and quotations
- Resource allocation and demand management
The Individual
The ideal candidate will have strong previous experience of service/operational management, leading successful teams, ideally within an IT environment. As the Service Operations Manager, you will be ITIL Foundation qualified and will have the ability to communicate with individuals or varying seniority and technical knowledge. Excellent attention to detail is essential, as well as a calm and measured demeanour, great customer care skills and an innovative and flexible approach.
