As the Procurement and Contracts Administrator, you will be supporting the procurement coordinator with procurement and contracting activity across the business, this is a 6 month FTC with the scope to go perm.

Description

The key responsibilities of the role will involve you assisting the procurement coordinator in running tenders and selecting best suppliers. The Procurement and Contracts Administrator will sit between the finance and procurement function, reporting into the finance business partner. Assisting the procurement function, it will be your responsibility to ensure that compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines and policies are adhere to, while also providing advice and support to suppliers.

Profile

The successful candidate will need fantastic attention to detail. as the Procurement and Contracts Administrator you will be expected to assist the Procurement Coordinator in the tender process, quality assuring tender and specification documentation, publishing them and managing the responses.

A candidate from a finance background would have an advantage however not essential. My client is keen on a candidate who wants to progress their career within procurement, offering scope to progress for the ideal candidate. This opportunity is a 6 month FTC role with the scope to go perm afterwards.

You will also be expected to schedule, organise and co-ordinate meetings with suppliers along side the procurement Coordinator.
