A new opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager to join this organisation as it embarks on centralising the procurement function; driving better value for money and greater compliance. You will also be working with the Head of Procurement in delivering their overall strategy.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:-
- Managing end to end procurement of multiple categories against a procurement pipeline through different procurement routes to market including OJEU (ideally Estates, FM and Professional Services)
- E-tendering and publication of notices
- Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders
- Contract Management and performance
- Monitor procurement compliance; including analysis and reporting
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers alike
- Work with the Head of Procurement in implementing a new contract management approach and implementing suitable forms of contract
- Devise appropriate suitable and effective procurement policies and procedures
Person Specification:-
- Sound understanding of public sector procurement regulations and practices
- OJEU and sub-OJEU experience
- Substantial experience of running end-to-end procurement processes
- HR, Property Services and FM categories of spend
- Collaboration and exceptional stakeholder engagement with clear communication
- MCIPS or graduate working towards
- Strategy to devise continuous improvement
