The role of the Export Coordinator will be to handle Air freight, Sea freight, some road and courier shipments from start to finish.
Job Responsibilities
- Taking enquiries
- Obtaining prices from shipping lines/airlines and NVOCC's
- Quoting customers and making bookings
- Raising and processing shipping documentation
- Arranging collections and deliveries
- Completing all freight administration and billing out files
- Speaking with Customers, Airlines, Shipping Lines and Hauliers
- Completing Export Customs Declarations Experience
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in International Freight Forwarding operations MUST have experience in Sea Freight
- Must have a varied background of Airfreight, Sea freight as well as Road and Courier
- Proven ability of handling all aspects Shipping Documentation
- Exports - Multi-Modal (Air-Sea) - Export Customs Declarations Experience
- HMRC export declarations, b/lading, quotes, rates form lines, airlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Innovative use of Systems to improve/ease administrative load
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
