Finance and Operations Director

Our client is a rapidly expanding brand with an international footprint based in the heart of Dorset. Who are now looking for a Financial and Operations Director to facilitate the next stage of their highly ambitious growth plans.

Working closely with the Managing Director in a high energy and fast paced environment, you will be instrumental in strengthening their focus on the operational and financial performance and further enhancing company growth plans and strategy through development of a more insightful management reporting pack.

As an operational and strategic role, this will oversee the Finance function as well as the complete management of the Warehouse and production operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of the financial and business strategy, ensuring visibility of business performance and providing appropriate analysis and insight into areas of improvement throughout the business. The post holder will feel comfortable challenging and enhancing current processes, policies and controls, implementing and managing improvements across finance and operations teams whilst also optimising IT and back office infrastructure. Candidates must have the talent to meet a continually changing set of circumstances, with exceptional interpersonal skills, the confidence to motivate and inspire across the business and externally to help on board major retailers with a pro-active mind-set.

As this role is working at the strategic senior finance level, you will hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA), have sound business acumen and the ability to problem solve with the drive and ambition to lead the business forward.
