Supply Chain Executive

This is an exciting opportunity to join Freixenet Copestick, the UK’s largest importer of Sparkling Wine. The company has recently moved to modern offices in the Newbury Business Park.

We are now looking for a Supply Chain Executive to liaise with customers, suppliers and the sales team to ensure that orders arrive on time and in the correct quantity.

Key Responsibilities;

- Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems

- Resolution of issues raised by transportation, logistics, imports/exports and customs

- Order processing, invoicing, stock control

- Manage sales tracking tools and reporting on key commercial data

- Liaise with account managers on forecasting

- Establish excellent working relationships with key accounts’ supply chain teams as well as with overseas suppliers

- Understand agreed terms with suppliers and customers and ensuring the supply chain operates within the agreed terms

- Review pending orders and specific customers’ requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience

- Provide data and guides to help the sales team

- Create new products, customers, vendors in SAP

- Stay up-to-date with new products and launches and ensure sales team is fully briefed and aware

- Identifying ways of improving stock efficiency

Person Specification;

- Experience within a Sales Support, Logistics or Supply Chain role is essential

- Experience within the drinks industry is highly desirable but not essential

- Current experience with SAP is preferred, but not essential as training will be given. However a proficient knowledge of other ERP and CRM systems is preferable

- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel

- In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

- Able to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders

- Experience problem solving in a customer facing role

- Analytical and multitasking skills

- Experienced contributing to the wider team objectives

- Able to flex and adapt to the changing needs of the business within a Supply Chain role
