Primary responsibilities include:
- Sourcing raw material suppliers and lining up interviews with directors for negotiations.
- Involvement in negotiations without director’s present for certain raw materials.
- Determination of raw material specifications to suit finished product.
- Material requirement planning to meet production and sales forecast.
- Monthly meetings with suppliers to discuss Non-conformance reports.
- Monthly meetings with internal staff members to discuss internal non-conformance reports.
- Projects to streamline costs and achieve efficiencies in entire supply chain process.
- Planning and ensuring raw material is called off in accordance with production demands.
- Lab testing raw materials to see if in accordance with specifications.
- Lab testing finished goods to see if in accordance with specifications.
- Dealing with scenarios where there is non-accordance with specifications.
- Preparing trials in order to win new business.
- BRC/FSC ensuring audits are passed.
- Training manuals and development of the department.
- Technical aspects of the department.
- Stock count investigation with finance.
- Responsible for goods in department.
- Customer facing with all technical aspects of the plant.
- SAP Business One experience preferential.
Other areas of responsibilities:
- Assisting the department and Senior Management as and when required
