Procurement & Carrier Management Analyst

I am currently recruiting for a Procurement & Carrier Management Analyst for an International Logistics company based in Tamworth.
I am looking for someone who has experience in logistics and analysing large amounts of data using recognised processes and methodologies, experience of procurement rate comparison and transport experience. It is essential you have 3-5 years demonstrable stakeholder management experience.

Role Purpose
• Carrier Database - Accessing, using, updating Carrier database as and when required. Working with the Central PCM analyst and PCM team to ensuring carriers' compliance documentation is updated and readily available in the database
• Provide data capture and thorough analysis of the customers' supply chain network and transportation flows, spend, profiles, carriers, lanes, and all other information relating to it
• Manage all elements of data including performing procurement and carrier rate benchmarking exercises as requested by the business. Compile rates from across all business units and maintain them centrally to support and provide ease of access for benchmarking comparison
• Working with the sourcing team to establish standard rates templates, ensuring those are updated, stored and duly communicated to the business units as and when change
• KPIs management - ensuring that all KPIs related to the account are developed, implemented and persistently monitored
• Developing and implementing control processes to support the freight procurement, supply chain engineering and FB&A across all business units
• Leverage relationships with Internal stakeholders by liaising with business units representatives from the customer community on information and data requests - managing expectations and deadlines to support the business
• Build and maintain effective, sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting communication as appropriate to support business development and existing operations
• Ensure awareness and maintenance of all processes within the account, keeping it updated and periodically reviewed, readily available for the sites and or the teams to use. If required through a shared repository mechanism
• Working closely with the sourcing and implementation teams setting up plans, check lists, carriers communications, processes and documents as required
• Ensure knowledge and compliance to Health & Safety procedures for self and team, ultimately ensuring that the required training for team members is kept accurately and up-to-date
